Winfield's 400-N Tariff Software Update for Windows

This email update is provided to you by Winfield Micro Systems at no charge to you. Winfield has updated the way your 400-N Tariff operates. We decided to send you this program update so your program will be as current as possible. Please note that this is only a program change update – not a rate change update.

Before you begin this special update download, please note the following:

You must be a current Winfield 400N customer in good standing.
This Special Update download will only update your existing 400-N program (both single user and multi-user programs).
Downloads for the 400-N (Windows programs) should always be downloaded to your Windows desktop. If need be you may copy this program to any other computers that use the Windows version of the Winfield Tariff. Be careful if you receive tariff for several carriers from Winfield. Call Winfield if you are not sure how to do this update.
NO SERIAL NUMBERS ARE NECESSARY WITH THIS DOWNLOAD.
THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE TARIFF - ONLY A PROGRAM UPDATE.
The last part of your install process is to run the new program and make sure the version number is updated! If it is not updated call Winfield for assistance!

Follow these instructions to download the software updates:

How to download: (Click the print button on your browser to print a copy of these instructions).

When you begin the download, a window will appear that asks where you want to save the update. If the window looks like this, select "Save this program to disk" and click "OK".

Or, if the window looks like this (below), click "Save".

A "Save As" dialogue box will appear.. The "file name" near the bottom of the box should be "C:\UpdateWMS2002.exe". This will save your update file to your Hard Disk. Then you can install the update to any/all computer using the the same 400-N (single or multi-user) program.

Next, click on "Save" button to begin the download process to your HardDisk. The download size is approximately 1,950,000 bytes.

After the download is complete, click "close" or "OK" and close your Internet browser.

How to install your Special Update to your Computer

1st Click on the "Start" Button

2nd Click on Run and type in "C:\UpdateWMS2002.exe" on the open line.

Click "OK" to begin the install process.

3rd Click on "Next" on the Setup Window

4th - The default Drive and Directory if C:\Program Files\WMS2000.

If this where your 400-N Tariff is currently installed - Click on "Next".

If your tariff located anywhere other than C:\Program Files\WMS2000 Click on "CHANGE" and specify a different Drive and Directory (i.e. F:\WMS2000 or F:\Apps)

IF you are not sure where to install to, right click on your program icon that starts your Windows Program. Select "Properties". The "Start in" line will show what drive and directory your program is installed in.

When the Downloading Directory is set to the proper location Click on "Next" to install this update!

Click on the "Finish" button to complete this Special Update!

Repeat this Install procedure for each computer that has the same 400-N (Windows) tariff.
